I spent most of today in the Grampians taking phot

I spent most of today in the Grampians taking photos of new growth after the fires. I wasn’t meant to, I just got a bit carried away as I was so inspired by the beauty after devastation. I also got to see my lovely friend @rosmcarthurart for a cuppa and finally brought home a piece of Ros’s beautiful art. G’day, I’m JP, Jackie Peacock ☺️

I’m based in St Arnaud Victoria. I grew up in this area, moved away and moved back. I have family here and I love the natural beauty of the area 🥰

I work in marketing, social media and content creation (video, photos, drone). I work with all sorts of people, from government organisations to small businesses and community groups.

A few things about me:

• I pride myself on being a simple person, honest, down-to-earth and easy to work with

• I never went to university. Everything I have learnt has been through an apprenticeship, certificates, diplomas, short courses, self-taught, learning on the job and being a someone who loves to continually learn, practice and improve my skills and knowledge

• I’m a graphic pre-press by trade (graphic designer). I started my apprenticeship 25 years ago 😅

• I’m not afraid of failure, I will have a crack at most things. I always learn something

• Spending time in nature clears my head and also helps me be creative for my work. I am out walking or riding my pushy in the bush most days - a big reason why I love where I live!

• Something I love doing is taking something that is complicated and making it easy for anyone to understand
